Mod: Morgen Blitz
Kurisu Aenslan has put together a mod, Morgen Blitz, that makes a number of changes to the game including unit stats, nation upgrades, Generals' Special Ops, and more.  See the included Readme file for full details and installation instructions.

Clan
=xXx= Triple Threat Clan has been added to the link pages - they've put together a nice site and have a good number of members.  Head on over there and see if you have the right stuff to have those three x's in front of your name.

Custom Maps
Huge map update - big thanks to blackj3sus for bringing these to my attention.  Be sure to check out his site - a lot of great work by the community.  Suggestion for map makers: please include your name/handle/nickname in the map description so you can get the credit you deserve for your hard work.

Aside:  I am surprised nobody yelled at me for having 2004 instead of 2005 :)

Review
The Wargamer has a nice review of A&A up:

The first computer Axis & Allies was a tremendous flop and the Iron Blitz Edition stand-alone patch didn’t fare any better. At face value it appears as though Atari and Timegate Studios are trying again but actually they just use the Axis & Allies title as a come-on for the game they really wanted to do. The pity is that this marketing strategy hides a pretty good game within the clothing of a struggling franchise, at least on the PC.

Review
Just got the latest PCGamer magazine (US) and there is a rather brutal review of A&A within.  With a score of 35%, you can assume they didn't like it much.  Other RTS reviews for reference: Battle For Middle-Earth (86%), Blitzkrieg: Rolling Thunder (69%), Time of Defiance (62%), Alexander (77%).
